So – if you’re a user of GearSource.com, you’ll know that we sent out a survey last week asking our users some pretty tough questions. Well, actually – the questions were easy, but the answers could have been pretty tough.
Much to my surprise, our users are quite happy with us. I am not that surprised since we work very hard to make our users happy, but at the same time, I expected people to complain about a lot of the bugs we’ve encountered on our site, the missing features we’re working to add, and any weakness we may have experienced up until now. In fact, people were quite kind. We appreciate that!
I wanted to share a few of the points made though.
1) Our vendors DO NOT list enough information pertaining to condition, life use, age, etc of an item. Many people asked for more photos – better photos, and more information.
2) We need to make even further improvements to our shipping system. We’ve been working on this, but have a long way to go. People want items to ship faster, cheaper and safer.
3) People want some of the NEW GEAR benefits in used. Things like Extended Warranties, Financing, and available accessories to name a few.
Sure, I am giving pointers to some of our competitors. That’s okay. Lets bring the entire industry up a notch while we’re at it!
